One Storage by Piero Lissoni for Kartell

Here’s another module storage system, this time by Piero Lissoni for Kartell. It’s made from a sturdy steel frame and acrylic resin doors, walls and floors, and will stand the test of time next to a cheaper version not made with the same materials. I think something like this would look amazing in the kitchen. Each unit is available with or without doors, and the base unit is available with either feet or wheels. The number of possible combinations is endless!

TreeHugger Reports From Greenbuild 2009

Just last week Treehugger joined thousands of designers, builders and architects in Arizona to check out all the latest advances in sustainable building at Greenbuild 2009 . By the time we got to Phoenix, we were 28,000 strong, all standing up and cheering for Al Gore’s speech , a new and different one directed at the Greenbuild audience. A conference like this shouldn’t be necessary; every building should be green. But there were stirring speeches, great educational sessions and hundreds of new green products to see. as much fun as my first computer…

..which was a Commodore C64 with monitor, printer, and *floppy drive*, even. No more sharing the Radio Shack Model 1 Level 2 at school, I could write D&D and Morrow Project character generators to my heart’s content. It was amazingly expensive relative to our other household expenses at the time, I think my dad was making $45K a year or so while he was in the Army and the out-the-door cost of the C64 Kit was around $1200. For less than that + a few evenings of assembly, I now have my own d

LG BL40 Chocolate review – how much do you want a phone that can end boredom permanently?

The LG BL40 Chocolate phone in this review could one day save your life (assuming being bored to death can genuinely happen!) Or what about the time you were on a train that slowed to a crawl…for seemingly hours on end? We’ve all been in situations where we’ve cried out for something interesting to do. Sometimes yo
